This data sheet describes an elemental analysis method using PANalytical’s MiniPal 2 a benchtop energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence (EDXRF) spectrometer.
MiniPal 2 is an excellent system to screen for heavy elements that are restricted by the RoHS and WEEE, or similar legislation.
Results obtained when analyzing Acrylonitrile-Butadiene Styrene (ABS) standards are summarized in this data sheet.
In common with Polyethylene (PE) and Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC), ABS is one of the most widely used plastics in products affected by RoHS legislation.


The tests on ABS were conducted on PANalytical’s MiniPal 2.
